As part of Koibanx’s commitment to the growth of the ecosystem Blockchain, the company sponsored the Blockchain 4 Humanity Award, which was presented by our CEO, Gabriel Kurman.

“This edition of laBITconf exceeded all our expectations,” says Kurman. “Latin America has been very receptive to Blockchain technology, there is a lot of interest among people and conferences as these are a great opportunity to educate and raise awareness about the benefits and challenges of Blockchain technology.”

The laBITconf conference is organized by the NGO Bitcoin Latin America. The mission of the NGO is to promote the development and application of Blockchain and Bitcoin in the region. The event was attended by well known companies in both the Blockchain ecosystem and the traditional financial world, including RSK Labs, IBM, Davivienda, Bitex.la and Antpool.
